Electronics company Codan to cut jobs despite record $45m profit

Adelaide-based electronics business Codan has sacked 40 workers a day after it announced a record profit. The company employs more than 300 staff at its Adelaide offices. Codan reported a $45 million net profit, almost double the amount recorded in the previous financial year.
